Kb is officially 22... kb is OLD!
anyway... kb was pretty sad that her birthday was during exams... kb thought this birthday was going to be the worst birthday ever... but it actually turned out even better than any of the birthdays i had since i came to uni... heehee...
kb feels so loved!
on my birthday my family came with all my fav foods and celebrated for me.. yayy! somemore my paper was a good one that day... wonder if it has anything to do with birthday luck... haha =P
wat makes this birthday the best is that my friends gave me the most wonderful weekend immediately after i got out of EXAMS! heehee =D
went out shopping with dione n zong on friday... retail therapy felt sooooo good... i was commented that i was spending money like water after dinner... zhehoung said no.. like oil... haha... out of point... but funny =P but the best part was, they gave me a nice surprise towards the end of the evening....
we had a super filling dinner at marche... but they insisted on having dessert at nydc... i didn't know why then... when dione said we should have dessert after dinner i assumed dessert would be at marche too... but it turned out they wanted mudpie at nydc... okay... fine... but we were too full so we went times to walk around n read a lot of crappy books in there.. then went we got to nydc... dione insisted that i accompany her to the toilet.... n she took a loooong time... but clever kb still didn't suspect anything... must be exams made kb stupid... hahaha... okaaay... kb is stupid all along.. happy?
anyway...when we got back... n we were just starting on the mudpie that we were all sharing... suddenly the waiter came with a slice of cake with a candle and said happy birthday to me. haha... i was sooo STUNNED~! i dunnoe y but i just didn't register the cake as mine when i saw the waiter with it until he said "happy birthday". my reaction was : "huh? me?" haha... probably cos in the back of my mind my birthday is so over that i really didn't expect anything coming... hahaha... =P
anyway... the two of them made stupid requests like removing the candle with my mouth and taking a bit in the cake without using any utensils... n they had fun taking pictures of those things... sigh.. i dunnoe what made me comply... probably i was too overwhelmed by the surprise to be capable of any thinking then... haha... then we took a lot of silly photos the rest of the night there... =P funny~! but kb is too lazy to upload them now... heehee =P maybe next time...
i had a wonderful sat too! thanks to miao n co.... finally went blading after ONE WHOLE MONTH.... hahaha.... missed that feeling of zooming up n down east coast.. but we didn't exactly zoom around much lar... haha... sat was more of a leisurely cruise around east coast. had a real fun day laughing n crapping with miao n libby... really missed that when i was stuck on campus.... but anyway.... the moment i sat down with miao when i arrived at macs... miao presented me with my birthday present!!
haha... that caught me off-guard... but what really made my day was the present! it was an mp3 player... something that i had always wanted but could never bear to buy myself... but i decided to buy myself that for christmas this year cos i really started feeling the inconvenience of not having a thumbdrive so i wanted to get one this december so i can use it as a portable storage.... but they forestalled me... hahaha... =P
after balding i had an enjoyable evening too... dinner with miao n libby at kenny rogers... after which libby n i went for yet another round of retail therapy at ps... heehee... i can sense the money slowly flowing out of my pockets.... sobz....
oh... the mp3 player was a combined present from Miao, Libby, Eugene, Sharon Thng, Juening and Willie... THANKS! really love it... =) Love u all too for making my day.... ;)
well i guess wat really made my day on friday and sat was the surprises and the love from my friends... as u guys should know by now, i'm a sucker for surprises... hahaha =P and the impact is the most when things come the most unexpectedly... happy~! thank you all again for the wonderful weekend!!
