hafn't been blogging for a long time.... dunnoe y...

maybe nothing happened to make me have the urge to blog. not even dnd... haha..

well i guess it's another symptom of getting old... haha... starting to get tired of things quite easily nowadays... now hall stuff dun seem to have any appeal to me or make me really wan to join them. (although a voice in the back of my mind keeps telling me that i need to at least join something so i can be an active resident and continue to stay in hall.. hahaha =P)

or maybe it's because i simply dun think enough. haha...

a lot of things have been happening around me and they have set me thinking. well they're mostly things that happened to friends around me. maybe it's cos i've never been in those situations. that's y i never thought of those things before i actually see them happening. that's when i started suspecting that i might have been resting my brains for too long... = S

well i guess it's good to start thinking now... so i'd be more prepared when my turn comes. please dun tell me to list them out. for 2 reasons: one, my friends wouldn't appreciate it if i end up broadcasting their troubles online; two, if i have to map out every single thinking process that runs through my head, i think 48 hours a day wouldn't be enough... haha.. ok crap.. as if anyone cares enough to ask.. bleahz...

well anyway, for those who still give 2 hoots, here are a few updates that i think might interest u:

1. i have a new workout plan! part of it involves blading once every fornight on saturdays. interested parties can come contact me. afterall, the more pple blading, the merrier. haha. oh yar... i must thank Yixiang for making my first jogging session in ntu a success... haha. =P
2. though i am generally disinterested in hall events, i'm singing acappella for maf. hall 11 residents please come n support k? heehee =P
3. production pple came to ask me to audition for a role in this year's production. they're gathering the cast this one-week break to settle into their roles and since i have yet to receive any news, i guess i'm not in. sigh. i didn't do very well during audition lar. just read whatever part of script they passed me. like machiam talking to friends liddat. haha. so i'm not surprised. but after the audition i thought it over, the role they were considering me for was interesting. and i wouldn't mind finally getting the chance to act on stage for a big production. haha. WASTED! but yeah.... nvm. i guess it's simply not a good year for me this year.
4. the one and only piece of good news for this blog entry: my group's project for our 402 module got into the semi-finals for NTU BPC. we were skeptical at first. but thanks to our group leader Daniel, we submitted our business plan anyway. it shocked us all to receive the email this afternoon to inform us that we were in the semis. i guess i'm being greedy but i really hope that we'll get into the finals. haha. i dun need us to win. i'm greedy rite? when we started off skeptical. =P
5. i know this is crazy. but i've been playing around with the idea of joining impresario this year. haha. i jio-ed Jeffire to join too. i told him that i'll join if he joins. but then, looking around hall, at pple like Hanna and Lydia, i'm having second thoughts. haha...
6. i think i am not fated to go to malaysia with ronald and shufen's gang. haha. told myself i'll go with them if i manage to make myself study a reasonable amount this one-week break. at the most i'll scrimp and save for another month. but thanks to bpc, i have another one and a half days less to study. sigh... malaysia is drifting out of sight. bye bye go-kart! bye bye ktv! sniff~
7. dnd was in a tiny ballroom in a not so posh hotel. heard it was only a 3-star. entire outfit + ticket cost me an estimated $260+, which happens to be more than half a month's allowance. and as i never had much savings to boast of, it meant that i had to really scrimp and save for the rest of the month. the result? the food sucked. i did my hair + make-up + manicure + pedicure all by myself! n it was quite a flop. haha. nails turned out alright. although it was nowhere near professional standards. hair was no good. actually it came out fantastic when i first finished it. but i didn't put enough hairspray in my hair. well i curled my hair all by myself but the curls became straight even before i reached the hotel. so irritating. make-up would have been nice if i wasn't going for dnd. haha. i am hopeless when it comes to eye make-up. so in a nutshell, i looked anything but glam that day. sigh... flop sia?
8. my laptop is completely and hopelessly down. need to format it. URGH~! not again. sighz...

well i guess that wraps up everything. fills the gaps sufficiently between my last post n now i think... it's like 3:50am so i better stop my crap... haha.. till my next post!
