ok... i'm still nuahing at home... dunnoe what's wrong with me, dun really feel like looking for a job this time.. haha.. my parents have been nagging me to go find a job cos they really can't stand seeing me lazing around anymore. haha... =P
anyway, was supposed to blog about our dinner trip (me, dione n zhehoung) at suntec. but i kept putting it off till now. heehee... too lazy = P anyway, here it goes.
Dinner trip
okies.. we went for dinner in this vietnamese food restuarant facing toys r us at suntec. the first thing that came to the table after we ordered food was this:
yeah u saw right. we were actually quite surprised n after some discussion, we concluded that it was tortoise feed. hahaha =P
but no it was not tortoise feed. it was our food. hmm.. it turned out to be part of this vietnamese pancake (or was it omelette? can't remember... too long ago... that's the result of being lazy...) the owner (or manager maybe) came n explained to us how it was supposed to be eaten.
on the plate was actually a bunch of lettuce, mint, and this other herb. then the omelette/pancake n some fish sauce were served. n the steps go like this:
1. first grab a lettuce leaf.
2.then grab some of this.
3. add some herbs
4. add some sauce (see it? it's the bowl right next to the plate)
5. then wrap it up
last step is of cos put in ur mouth chew n swallow. hahaha. blarhz.
then our main courses were served.
first was zhehoung's satay fish with broken rice. (yeah the rice grains were all broken.)
then dione's grilled chicken with broken rice
n my beef stew with pho (vietnamese rice noodles) (yupz, mine came with another portion of tortoise feed. haha)
then after dinner we went arcade n after chak arrived, we bought yami yoghurt n walked to ms to play pool. hahaha.. had a really fun evening. = P

My mum was going through the stuff in our storeroom n she found this whole box of old photo albums. i was looking through all of them n i found lots of my kid pictures. haha. so here i am, showing off how cute i was as a kid. heehee.. ok ok... i know, i'm such a bhb right? nenene... i like, so? hahaha

haha... cute right? u'll never expect him to become the "devil" he is now. hahaha. oh well... guys will be guys... anyway, of the pictures that he scanned, i found 2 particularly entertaining.
yup, that's him in my home econs apron when i first went to sec school. he must be about 4 then. haha. what i found most hilarious was not how he looked, but the bunch of spring onions in his hand. hahahaha. i think my mum made him pose like that after my other brother n i dressed him up. haha. so farnie.

okie... that's about all... i had to start wearing glasses when i was in pri 3 so i looked darned ugly after that. haha... n that's when i started hating taking photos too. so i refuse to post them. hahaha. oh, my hair also became damned short after i got to pri 4 so i looked even uglier... haha. yuck. shudder to think... haha. blarhz... okie.... that's it for today. =P till my next post!
