Happy Mother's Day!

Okie i confess. i didn't bake the cake. i only decorated pound cakes that i bought. it's actually made up of 2 pound cakes trimmed n arranged to look like a square. what to do? dun have an oven at home.. and like my mum says, it's really not that nice to go to my grandparents' when ever i have the urge to bake.

oh.. i was complaing to dione how my dad lacks imagination. when he came home, i pointed to the kiwi slices on my cake which i arranged to look like butterflies n asked him what he thinks they were. his answer? kiwi fruit. duhz.... isn't that obvious? haha.

my mum said i should do a cake for father's day too else daddy n my grandfather would be jealous.... duhz... haha..

like i mentioned in my previous post (which i posted a few minutes ago), here's the picture of the original pair that i saw on the website. sweet hor? ok.. i still love my pair... just that this one seems more like my kind.. haha.. oh well...

Exams

exams are finally over... phew... ok.. they were over more than a week ago... i was just too nuah to update my blog... blarhz. haha. whatever.. it's done n over with. n they were horrible. but i dun wan to be bothered about how i fared. let me enjoy while i can now.. i can worry about results later. haha =P

Moving out

we finally moved out of hall. dione n i moved out on the same day. i'm so going to miss rongshan next year. no more naggings from her to tell me to stardee... but i'm sure xuefen they all will take over that job... haha.

ooh... while we were waiting for our transport home we were so bored that we resorted to entertaining ourselves by taking silly pictures n videos. haha.

first dione decided to try sitting in a box. then we started this joke on shipping her off.... yixiang said it's going to be cheap to ship her off cos of how light she is. haha. n trix reminded me that i've got to put holes in the box if i was really going to ship her off.. haha. zhehoung said it's like shipping the giraffe off to the wild. haha. reminds me of madagascar.

after that we took a few stupid videos in dione's room.. come find me n i'll show u. haha. i still haven't figured out how to put a video clip on my blog. blarhz.

Lemmings

rongshan's fault. she got us all hooked to this website. it's called the tzarist. i've got the link in the side bar. go check it out. the girls hosting that site handmake n sell earrings, necklaces n bracelets online. anyway, rongshan's neighbour gave her the link n she just had to pass it to all of us. in the end ALL of us got something from the website. hahaha =P

i'm not one person who shops online often. but i think the pieces are really very unique. slightly expensive compared to accessories found outside but the unique design n limited pieces reasons out for the price.

i got myself two pairs of earrings.. the first pair is called charlotte. it doesn't look like much but it's really very nice when i took it out of the package that arrived. nicer than in the photo. heehee. it's quite sweet.

the second pair i really loved it when i saw it on the website. it's called the rose of the orient. unfortunately, it was an older creation which was sold out by the time i contacted them. then they couldn't find the rose glass beads they used initially n used printed pearls instead to remake that pair for me. sad. it's still pretty, but i'd have preferred the glass beads. haha. they look much sweeter with the glass beads. the pearls gave it a slightly more sophisticated look. now it looks even more the “贵妇”(or rich lady) part as xuefen described. nonetheless, i still love it lar. haha. it's really nice.
