hahaha.... okie that was all crap. = P BUT...... i got my first camera phone!! heehee... hafn't got a picture to show u all, but it's a panasonic vs6, red coloured one. very very broke now. sobz.. haha. anyway, the idea of this post is to share some of the photos i've taken with my phone. heehee :P

Outing with Yenxiang n Esther
Today (or rather yesterday, since it's 3am now) is yenxiang's birthday. met esther n yenxiang for dinner to celebrate it. had dinner at this japanese restaurant called shima aji (i think) at colours of the bay to celebrate. nice food, a little ex for my current financial status but i guess it was all worth it. haha. afterall the food was good and it was a friend's birthday so it was worth the spend. show u guys what we ate.
my food, haha. sashimi set, $20++. quite a light meal lar, a bowl of udon, 4 kinds of fish, total 12 slices of sashimi, a small portion of side dish, dun really know what it was, two cubes of watermelon. i wasn't hungry anyway, had a super late lunch today, almost had dimsum. ALMOST. haha. sadz.... all my mum's fault i didn't get dimsum... haiz... hahaha :P
yenxiang's food. sukiyaki set. gigantic set of food lar. $20.80++. super worth the price comparing it to mine. think it was beef hotpot, small one lar of cos, a bowl of rice, that side dish thingy, one raw egg to beat into the hot pot, a small portion of salmon sashimi (think 3 slices?) tempura prawn(2 pieces), 2 pieces of tempura veg, n of cos, the two cubes of watermelon. haha. quite a lot of things. if we hadn't already had salmon sushi before this i think the portion would be just right for a moderate eating guy, or a girl with a slightly large appetite.
yes u saw right, we had salmon sushi before this while waiting for esther. very nice! but hadn't thought of taking pictures then, yenxiang was hungry already. haha. in the end, he could hardly finish his food.
esther's food. steamed unagi set. $18++. the lady at the restaurant said that the unagi was grilled before being steamed, so as to retain it's juices. yum yum. very nice, tried a little of it. never liked unagi much before this but i can tell u, i really think it was wonderful. haha. set consisted of unagi steamed on rice, the side dish thingy again, miso soup, 3 slices of salmon sashimi, tempura prawn n veg, n of cos, the 2 cubes of watermelon. haha. quite worth it's price too... sigh... i think only mine was disappointing, but i was not hungry at all, couldn't eat any of the other sets. sighz... what a waste.
after dinner we all had complimentary konniyaku jelly with fruit bits. forgot to take picture of it. then after dessert, we settled the bill n we were talking, then suddenly, i saw fireworks! haha.
actually i saw the reflections on the walls of marina mandarin. haha. then we dashed out with our belongings n took photos of the fireworks. i only got one good shot with my stupid phone. reaction so slow. sighz. yenxiang got more on his digital slr. maybe i'll post more after he has uploaded.
oh, i got my belated birthday presents from esther! i really loved them.
at first i only saw piglet. cute ehz? haha. but when i took piglet out of the wrapping paper, guess what i saw below?
yupz... this pink pouch. inside was not one, but TWO pairs of earrings... hahaha. i was like woah.... what a lot of presents to get at one go. hahaha. do u see that pair on top? the flower ones. haha. forgot to take an individual shot of that.
this is the second pair. HUGE purple n black beaded earrings. the largest pair of earrings i have by far. haha. seriously (esther dear, no offence meant) i was a little skeptical at first whether they'll look good on me... haha. i mean, i've never tried earrings that big. but apparently, dione says it looks good. heehee. i think it's nice too. i guess i should be glad of my long hair, it might have been a little too long for me if my hair was short. :P but none-the-less, it's still a great pair. i really love it. heehee...
